We understand and respect your concerns about the privacy and security of any information you supply while using ICON. This statement sets forth ICON's Privacy and Security Policy and describes the practices ICON follows with respect to all users.

PRIVACY POLICY

We uphold strict security procedures for the storage, use and disclosure of any personal information you volunteer while using ICON. Below we describe the personal information we collect, the purposes for which we hold it and the limited categories of people who we may disclose it to.

Personal Information Collected and Uses

To access ICON you need to register. If you are part of an organisation's license we only collect minimal data; name, email and occupation, but for single users we additionally require your address.

ICON uses this information for internal purposes (to maintain or update your ICON account and score, or to send you updates about special offers, new services, special promotions, and noteworthy news and events).

ICON may use certain account information of authorised users to conduct credit inquiries. ICON does not sell or rent information about its customers to third parties.

If you are using ICON as part of an organisation your scores and usage will be available to your organisation's ICON administrator.

ICON may also profile your website activity, in order to accurately track your account and provide you with ICON products and services. ICON may also compile data in aggregate form so that we may better understand our users. Aggregate data is anonymous and does not contain any personal information that identifies a user.

Links

Please be aware that the ICON may contain links to other websites that are covered by their own privacy and security policies. ICON is not responsible for the privacy practices of other such sites and we encourage our users to be aware when they leave our website. We recommend that our users read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

Security Statement

Security is one of the most significant concerns during an online transaction. For all payment transcations on this website we transfer the user to our Internet Merchant Account with Worldpay. ICON does not record your credit card details.

Worldpay is part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, the 5th biggest banking group in the world. The transfer of the purchase details from our ICON to WorldPay are encapsulated using Worldpay's own encrypted and digitally-signed protocol, which uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof via SSL(secure socket layer) encryption technology.

WorldPay supports the full range of fraud-prevention methods including online transaction authorisation, cardholder verification (Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code), and Address Verification Service (AVS).
